To celebrate today’s release of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, we’re doing an entire month of videos and features about MGS, our favourite series of games about men getting old, being possessed by arms and hiding in cardboard boxes, starring our favourite hard bastard (ok, second favourite) Solid Snake.
It all kicks off with our retrospective of Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, the mental Gamecube remake of the first chapter of MGS.
There’ll be plenty more videos to watch as the month goes on, including sketches, retrospectives, and our review of the HD Collection. But that’s not all. This month, we’re launching the first episode of The Bit Socket Podcast with a Metal Gear Solid Special.
We’re also going to do a full playthrough of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater in one sitting, updating the blog live as we go.
